BIRDWATCHING - GOLD WAY
The Gold Way is an ideal spot for Birdwatching, there is no other noise than the birds songs, the way alternates differents types of veggetation, forest and plantation, dense and open areas with a good number of different birds. We also visit the restaurants Barão and Vila Verde where they feed the birds dailyto atract the colored birds.
WHEN:
✔ All year round. Spring is the best time of the year to see birds. Rainy and windy day are not recommended.
WHO CAN AND MUST:
✔ Recommended for nature lovers specialy those how are interested in birdwatching.
✔ No experience is requerided.
✔ For the under 18, they need to bring an authorization signed by the legal guardian. Please request form.
ROUTE AND DURATION:
✔ Caminho do ouro is 20 minutes away from town.
✔ The tour takes about 4 hours, old road pavimented with rocks in 18th centure, where there is no noise of cars, just nature.
✔ The area is the surroundings of the Serra da Bocaina National Park in the border of Paraty and Cunha.
TIME:
✔ Every day departing at 6am, with advance reservation.
✔ Birdwachting is good early in the morning 6am or late afternoon 3pm.

CAPACITY OF SERVICE:
✔ Minimum 2 people, smaller groups are better for the development of the tour.

WHAT TO USE:
✔ Light and confortable clothes. We recommend clothes like green and brown color for camuflage, pants and long leeves shirt, closed shoes (may be old, will get dirty!).

✔ Camera with teleobjective lens or binoculars.
✔ Water, Sunscreen, insect repelent, towel, clothing and footwear to change, willingness and good mood!
